The brief.

Hardware and software compliance audit, end-to-end, for a 1,200-site estate.

The problem.

The audit cycle was eight months long, manual, and effort-heavy. The shared spreadsheet was the system of record, which meant the system of record was always stale.

What I did.

Designed a per-device audit process from intake to sign-off. Built the tooling in Python-in-Excel: input parsing, rule evaluation, evidence packaging, exception routing. Replaced the shared spreadsheet with a single source of truth.

Outcome.

Cycle time from eight months to three. Effort halved. ISC2 Cybersecurity and Microsoft AZ-900 picked up during the work.
